Accompanied my partner and the golf group he was coordinating a trip for to this beautiful golf club since it was apparently famous for its beautiful scenery - definitely did not disappoint! Even with the initial rain, it was still gorgeous. Since their game ended close to 7, we decided to stay for dinner at the clubhouse as our hotel was 1.5h away. The food and service did NOT disappoint. We greatly enjoyed the roast beef with crispy onions and crispy potatoes, roasted trout with potato salad was also a real treat - super fresh, and deer stew pasta was surprisingly really good. We tried the veal liver dumplings soup - rather salty and perhaps not for our palate but can be gamey for some, beef salad was refreshing, and of course signature sausage with mustard and horse radish can never go wrong. Apple strudel was a warm and comforting end to a very filling and satisfying dinner.

Had a lovely weekend at Adamstal GC. The rain wasn’t so good for playing golf but the great service and really good food in the golfclub‘s restaurant made the trip worth it. Must be one of the few golfclub restaurants that serves delicious meals and has an extensive wine selection.
My typical round starts and ends there, Saturday's "Bio Backhendl" (fried chicken) and the "Sunday Roast" are meals I look forward to the whole week. They got an excellent Wine Selection, will prepare you a sandwich to-go ("Beinschinken Semmel" - get some of their home-made, fresh Icetea along with it!) for the round and please you overall with their friendly and very welcoming service. They try to source all produce locally as I was told, still the prices are very reasonable - and the enviroment is beautiful and relaxed.
The course is beautiful and I wish we could play there more often. Lunch at the restaurant thereafter is always a treat!
